Throughout the New Testament, we see CHRIST THE HEALER. He never turned away anyone seeking healing. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Christians today like Christians of old should expect God to heal their bodies. There are precious promises in the Bible that will increase our faith and help us to trust Him for a miracle. Many people have received their healing as they have read God's Word and by faith received the promises. Meditate upon these scriptures until your healing comes. And know the same Jesus who walked among us over 2000 years ago is still walking among us today with the same power to heal. ----- “FAITH COMES BY HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.” “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou are my praise.” “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.” “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.” “And said, if thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon them which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.” “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” “And the whole multitudes sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.” “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.” “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. - Proverbs 3:5-8 “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” “ O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.” “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why are thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed.” “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy disesases.” “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” ----- “..THE PRAYER OF FAITH SHALL SAVE THE SICK…” “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the Prayer of Faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” The Eldership at Church on the Rock cares about you! And know there are some who have no elders to call upon. The compassion of Jesus has commissioned us to serve you to be available to anoint you with oil and pray the Prayer of Faith.
